KWASU 2025/2026 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening: How to Apply

Are you looking to gain admission into Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete for the 2025/2026 academic session? The university has officially opened its undergraduate pre-admission screening for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.

Who Is Eligible for KWASU 2025/2026 Admission Screening?

You can apply if you fall into any of the categories below:

✅ Candidates who selected KWASU as their first choice institution in JAMB.
✅ Candidates willing to change their first choice to KWASU via the JAMB portal.
✅ Candidates with a minimum of five (5) relevant O’level credits in not more than two sittings. (Only one sitting is allowed for MBBS applicants.)
Awaiting result candidates may apply, but must upload their results before admission ends.

⚠️ Note: Wrong entries or document falsification will lead to automatic disqualification.

  • 🗓️ Registration Opens: Friday, 18th July 2025
  • 🛑 Registration Closes: Sunday, 17th August 2025

KWASU Post-UTME Screening Fee

💰 A non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 is required for the application. Payment is done online via ATM (Visa or Mastercard).


How to Apply for KWASU Pre-Admission Screening 2025

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit: https://portal.kwasu.edu.ng
  2. Click “Click here to apply
  3. Select “Undergraduate” at the top menu
  4. Enter your JAMB registration number, click “Continue”
  5. Fill in your basic information (valid phone number and email)
  6. Click “Make Payment” to proceed to the ATM card payment portal
  7. Enter your card details and submit the OTP code sent to your phone
  8. After payment, click “Main login,” enter your JAMB number and surname as password
  9. Complete the registration form and print your confirmation slip and receipt

🔄 Trouble paying? Use the Re-query option on the portal with your JAMB number and phone number if debited without success.


Final Admission Notice

Admission is based on:

  • Aggregate score of UTME/DE (70%) and O’level (30%)
  • Meeting departmental cut-offs and NUC admission quotas

📌 Note: KWASU has zero tolerance for fake documents or falsified citizenship claims. Offenders will be disqualified and prosecuted.
