One Nigerian Student who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement will win a scholarship worth £10,000 as tuition fee waiver in the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign scholarships to study MSc Electrical Power Engineering at the University of Edinburg.
This scholarship scheme is part of the GREAT Scholarships annual campaign, launched by the British Council together with 49 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to support postgraduate students from selected countries to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.
Note that this scholarship is only for tuition fee waiver, the successful applicant will still be expected to process their visa, pay for their flight ticket, accommodation and stipends.
Eligibility
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree in any field related to MSc Electrical Power Engineering.
The successful applicant will be notified in mid June, but all applicants must first apply to the University of Edinburg and must have received an offer of admission before June.
