About the SMEDAN Pitch Competition
The SMEDAN MSME Pitch Competition is a flagship initiative designed to empower Nigerian entrepreneurs, promote business innovation, and showcase the resilience of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
Held during the National MSME Conference 2025 (scheduled for November 16–18, 2025, in Lagos State), the competition will feature 10 shortlisted entrepreneurs pitching their businesses live before a panel of industry experts, investors, and policymakers.
From this group, five outstanding businesses will share a total of ₦20 million in grant funding, alongside national recognition, exposure, and mentorship opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements:
✅ Must be a Nigerian entrepreneur with a business registered and operational in Nigeria
✅ Must be registered with SMEDAN via portal.smedan.gov.ng and have a valid SUID number
✅ Business must have been operational for at least two (2) years
✅ Must be available to attend the live pitch session in Lagos (November 16–18, 2025) if selected among the top 10 finalists
✅ Open to entrepreneurs from all 36 states and the FCT

Step 1: Record and Post Your Elevator Pitch Video
Before filling out the application form, record a short 1–2 minute video introducing yourself and your business.
Your video should include:

- How your business reflects this year’s theme:
