WAEC Job Openings 2025
The following positions are open for application:
1. Assistant Registrar II
Specializations:
- Music (B.A. Music / B.Ed Music)
- Special Education (B.Ed. Special Education – Visual Impairment)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and moderate test materials for assigned subjects.
- Participate in other WAEC examination-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class Lower).
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification teaching experience.
2. Accountants
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with regulations.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Manage financial data and reports.
- Implement cost control strategies.
- Supervise accounting staff and oversee expenditure tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Membership with ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA/ACA (UK).
- Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience.
3. Human Resource Management Officers
Responsibilities:
- Implement HR policies and manpower plans.
- Maintain employee records and performance management systems.
- Support recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Lower) in HR Management or related discipline.
- Membership with CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD is an advantage.

- Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
4. Medical Doctor
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical management, diagnosis, and follow-up for staff.
- Conduct medical assessments and seminars.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- MBBS Degree in Medicine and Surgery.
- Full registration with MDCN.
- Minimum of 1 year post-NYSC clinical experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
5. Internal Auditor II
Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Review internal controls and identify gaps.
- Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluate risk and performance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum Second Class Lower) in Accounting or related discipline.
- Membership with ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA/ACA (UK).
- Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC audit experience.
General Requirements for All Positions
All applicants must:
- Have a minimum of five (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
- Be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office tools and web applications.
- Be capable of preparing concise reports and meeting deadlines.
- Be under 40 years of age as of the date of application.
- Be medically fit and of good character.
