Ways to use TikTok to avoid permanent ban

Social media influencer Saidaboj, whose real name is Sarah Idaji Ojone, has allegedly been suspended from the social media platform TikTok.

Saidaboj’s suspension happened after a video in which she made statements considered offensive by many people went viral online.

The popular skit maker’s trouble started after she made comments encouraging young females to engage in relationships for monetary gain during an episode of the Honest Bunch podcast.

During the program, Saidaboj further made numerous sexually related statements that many people commented online could mislead young individuals.

As a result, many people reported Saida Boj’s TikTok account, and the video-sharing platform quickly suspended her account, which had over 1.3 million followers.

TikTok has faced bans in some countries for years now due to violent content on the platform, which has led to regulations on certain types of content.

The social media platform has strict policies to remove violent content.

TikTok has comprehensive community guidelines that set rules for what is allowed on the platform.

They use tools and technology to identify and remove harmful content and behavior that goes against their community guidelines.

According to TikTok, these tools help enhance the safety of their community and maintain the integrity of the platform.

Additionally, TikTok relies on user reports to identify anyone who violates their community rules.

This means that the video-sharing platform uses both automated and human evaluation to identify offenders on their platform.

TikTok adds that if they find any violations and remove the content, they will notify the account owner.

What can cause your TikTok account to be banned and how to avoid it?

TikTok can permanently ban your account if they identify violations of their community guidelines and terms of service, which include:

  • Not meeting the minimum age or other requirements as stated in their terms of service. Make sure you meet the right age condition without cutting corners.
  • Impersonating another person or entity in a deceptive way.
  • Having serious violations on your account.
  • Posting, promoting, or arranging youth exploitation or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Promoting or threatening violence.
  • Posting or promoting content about non-consensual sex acts like rape or molestation.
  • Posting content representing human trafficking.
  • Posting content representing real-world torture.
  • Creating or using another TikTok account to intentionally avoid restrictions or a permanent ban on another account.
  • Accumulating a certain number of strikes for multiple violations within one policy or feature.
  • Repeatedly violating TikTok’s intellectual property policies.

The key point is, if your account gets permanently banned from TikTok, you will need to wait until after the ban to open another account.

How to protect your account from a TikTok ban:

Do not share violent content.

You can protect your TikTok account by not sharing violent content. TikTok has algorithms that detect anything with blood, guns, and other graphic content that could lead to a ban. Avoid sharing such content.

Never threaten users.

Even though many people like to provoke online, never try to threaten them to avoid getting your TikTok account banned.

Do not promote self-harm.

TikTok has very strict policies dealing with content that promotes or glorifies harmful behavior such as self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or stunts that could cause injury.

Never share content that promotes fraudulent activities.

Posting or streaming videos that show and encourage illegal activities like fake trading, drug abuse, or breaking the law can get your account banned.

Avoid spam behavior and inappropriate content.

The first thing that could get you shadowbanned on TikTok is behaving like a spammer.

Some people like to encourage others to follow them in exchange for a follow back.

Such behavior is considered spam by TikTok if done repeatedly.

To avoid this issue, keep your regular posts to less than 100 and do not follow more than 50 people in one day.

If you consider all this, including hate speech, fake news, violence, nudity, copyright music, and drugs in your videos can lead to a shadow ban.

But if you don’t avoid this type of content, your account may be banned permanently.
